KIOSK, a weekend event with Fig., SERIE NR., and BOOOOOKS. 

Saturday 14 & Sunday 15 June, 11:00–17:00

Fig. prioritises materials derived from nature. Their garments are crafted from certified organic cotton, hemp, and occasionally, deadstock fabrics.  Working closely with small-scale producers and artisans, fig. shapes everyday essentials, using natural materials—one by one made with purpose, not excess.

Working with 100% silks, painted and finished by hand in Antwerp, SERIE NR. was born from exploring the potentials within a single hue.  When touched by light, the colours liberate themselves. Each piece is unique, like a passing moment, impossible to replicate. Its name reveals a fascination with both documentation and cataloguing processes, whilst simultaneously stripping away the identity of the maker to let the silk take centre stage.

BOOOOOKS is a bookshop and presentation space showcasing the practice of artist publishing.  The guiding principle is the book as a material object resulting from reflections on both content and form; as an idea and symbol of the human necessity to tell stories.  Alongside an occasional programme of exhibitions, events and launches, is an organically growing selection of works from independent publishers, artists and designers.
